During this course we will explore the prophetic transformation in the life of a student and how they can best develop and use their prophetic gift to bring healing, restoration and direction to the Kingdom of God!

We desire that each student grow into the likeness of Jesus Christ and fulfill God’s destiny for their life.

We have made this course affordable to each one, so you understand how vital is to know the plan and purpose for which you were created.

• Meets: Thursdays from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm or 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm.

Space is limited to allow personal time for each student. Scholarships available.

Course Outline

Class 1 – History of the Prophetic
In the Old Testament, the School of the Prophets had five places of training Ramah, Bethel, Gilgal, Jericho, and Jordan.

Class 2 – Lord Help!!!!!!… I need to hear YOUR voice!
John 10:3- The sheep hear his voice: and he call his own sheep by name, and lead them out.

John 8:47 – He that is of God hears God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Class 3 – Integrity in the Prophetic (Secrets of the Heart)
Jeremiah 17:9 – The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

“Do you want to live more and more like Jesus every day?” Then we must be people of character and integrity. Am I a disciplined person? Can others count on me? Do I keep my word?

It is important to know our identity in Christ. Remember this process of change is to best equip you to glorify Christ by serving others.

Class 4 – Lord I need a mentor; a spiritual Father/ Mother!
The dictionary definition of a mentor: A wise and trusted advisor, guide, tutor or counselor.

Being a mentor is the process of taking our God given talents, gifts and abilities by sharing them, imparting, depositing into others.

The process of mentoring is revealed in such relationships as:

• Elijah and Elisha
• Jethro and Moses
• Moses and Joshua
• Jesus and the Apostles

 

Class 5 – Why do we need prophets today?
Revelation 19:10 – For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Class 6 – Dreams and Visions
Acts 2:17 – And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Whenever you silence the prophets, you silence the voice of Christ in the land! (B. Jordan)

• A mentor is not your friend, but it is one who challenges you.
• A mentor is not one who applauds you, but one who corrects you.
• A mentor does not celebrate your current state and is not satisfied with where you are now, but yearns to see you fully accomplished.
• Learn to love and honor your mentor because he/she will be a very important part of your life.
